La Maison Du Whisky Has a Few Limited-Edition Celebratory Bottles (18th Birthday!) You Should Take Note Of.

To celebrate its 18th year in Singapore, La Maison Du Whisky has made four special cask bottlings, which are now available to order. There is a Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon, Gordon & MacPhail Speymalt from Macallan Distillery and a Transcontinental Rum Line Barbados 2006. We are, however, giving this Neisson rum a special mention.

In a blink, our beloved La Maison Du Whisky has already turned 18 (cheekily, the legal age for drinking). The company has been bottling exclusive spirits to celebrate shared milestones along the way, and for this, their 18th, LMDW proudly introduces their first 18th Anniversary cask to get the party started. This Neisson rum — only 241 bottles are available — deserves special mention.

This cask-strength (58.2% ABV) agricole rum, made from sugarcane and aged in Neisson’s warehouse in Martinique (average temperature 27.7°C), is a complex offering with notes of candied fruits and chocolate, vanilla and spice, lemon and dark cherries, with a hint of earthiness. It defies what a standard agricole rum is and oughta be in your collection.
