Parched is a magazine dedicated to the pleasures and pursuit of drinking. It’s a lifestyle magazine focused on cocktail culture and drinking trends (flavoured whisky), brand stories (sessions with sake masters), bartender stories (guest columnists), interviews (brand ambassadors), great recipes, new bars, booze reviews and listicles with fun reads and winsome good advice.
We want to share with the world what to drink, how to make it, where to find it, and why we imbibe it. It short, it’s about the adventures of drinking. And when you’ve read something new here, we want you to go share it with someone whom you can drink with.
Parched.asia launched in June 2014 (beta), and our e-commerce engine will be up and running by July. Yes, that means you can buy some of the alcohol we feature directly from us. The site will create original content as well as aggregate brilliant features from around the world.
David Fuhrmann-Lim is the curator/editor, and will be working with a team to provide daily updates… Although that does depend on the escapades of the night before. Parched.asia is owned by Splode Pte Ltd.
