This is What You Should Look Out For at The Upcoming ProWine Singapore 2024, Which Will be Held From April 23 to 26 at The Singapore Expo.

So much to look forward to at ProWine Singapore 2024, where this year there will be a sweet line-up of exhibitors, the inaugural ProWine Awards, the all-new German Pavilion, and the announcement of two new zones: ProWine Zero and ProSpirits.

👉🏽 200 exhibitors from 26 countries

The event highlights six national pavilions and country groups, including France, Germany, Ireland, and three Spanish provinces (Catalonia, Castile and Leon, and Utiel-Requena of the Valencia Province), alongside Singapore, presenting a global panorama of vineyard excellence.

Look for new exhibitors like Clonakilty Distillery (launching its inaugural Single Pot Still Irish whiskey), Albor de Resalte 2022 (a 100% Albillo Mayor from the only white grape authorised in DO Ribera del Duero, and Bobos Finca Casa la Borracha Bobal, (sourced from organic Bobal vines over 80 years old and aged 10 months in oak).

[Fun Fact: Approximately 30% of the visitors are expected to travel in from overseas.]

👉🏽 The First-ever German Pavilion (Hall 2 D1-01)

Eleven wine producers from four distinct regions will showcase their premium wines, accompanied by insightful seminars and tastings led by the esteemed German Wine Ambassador, Jessica Himmelsbach, representing the national German wine industry.

Singapore has been chosen to kickstart the annual Reisling Week festivities around the world, which celebrate this noble grape. The festivities are organized by the German Wine Institute (DWI) and will include various campaign activities aimed at promoting the love for Riesling in Singapore.

Watch for first-time exhibitors Weingut Spiess (showcasing their Bechtheimer Hasensprung Pinot Noir), Einig-Zenzen (introducing the Dr. Zenzen Queen of Grapes Riesling), and Frey Winery in Ober-Flörsheim (debuting their 2023 Riesling).

[Fun Fact: In 2022, German wine exports to Singapore doubled to two million euros, reflecting Singaporean consumers’ discerning taste.]
