ELITE FRIDAYS AT THE EXCHANGE
29 Oct 2015 By Ben Chin
Fridays just got happier with custom cocktails and fabulous female DJs.
As great as a $30 cocktail from a celebrity mixologist is, there are occasions where an overly conceptual, deconstructed, molecular whatever just doesn’t quite hit the spot like a well-made classic vodka martini. To make Friday nights even more fun, Tadcaster Hospitality’s The Exchange at Asia Square launched Elite Fridays with a new menu of what they call “custom home-infused vodka martinis”.
Exclusively available during Elite Fridays, the specialty cocktails are made with Stolichnaya Premium Vodka, better known as Stoli. Paying homage to the Russian vodka brands with names like Russian Cosmo and Latvia Lemon Drop, the cocktails’ creator Thina (short for Thinagaran) has also made his own infusions with honey and even chrysanthemum.
Although all the drinks on this menu tend to be on the sweeter side, the 1901 Sundown (above, with chrysanthemum-infused Stoli) and the coconutty Coco Loco Friday tend to be less sweet.
This watering hole for the financial crowd doesn’t disappoint food-wise either. Pair this with bar bites by sous chef Joan Chiang, while relaxing to commercial house by a rotating roster of female DJs such as Jade Rasif and DJ Reiko and you’re good to embrace the weekend head-on.
Elite Fridays vodka martinis are 1-for-1 at $16++
